Hi all does anyone know if all S Type diesels have aux heaters as I have not had mine fire up yet ?

 

Think they have, when mine fires up it looks like the engine is on fire, never seen so much smoke, fills the cabin with fumes aswell. 

Check fuse 3 in the under-bonnet fuse box David.

Easiest way to disable a dodgy FBH :) If it's missing you can replace it. However, it will have been removed for a reason. Most usually because if the burner in the FBH isn't adjusted correctly, it produces masses of white unburnt diesel mist which, as previously mentioned, can be drawn into the cabin if the cabin air intake is not set to recirculating.

Mine fires up beautifully with just a 5 second whiff of diesel and without any exhaust smoke.
