X-Type Nav screen help

Hi guys, first post for me here.

I've just bought a 56 plate X Type SE, and I was wondering if there is any way of setting the Nav screen so that when you start the car up it either stays blank/off, or displays the Jaguar logo? Currently it just defaults to the last screen I had on eg Radio or Main Menu.

Welcome to the Club, Chris.

I think that it should be similar to the S type, in which case press Menu on the RH side of the screen and then take it from there.

Thanks for the reply. I have explored the menu and it's very limited. I was wondering if there was some kind of back-door trick to enable it. When the ignition starts, the screen defaults to the  jaguar logo, then to the last menu I was on (radio / climate etc). If the screen was off previously, it defaults to the menu screen. Any way the screen stays off until I turn it on manually? Sorry to be a pain!
