I've got a '99 XKR. Yesterday it started firing on 7 cyls and the message "Performance Restricted" appeared on the display. So I plugged in a fault code reader and it says Ignition Coil E failed. Does anyone know which of the 8 packs "E" is?

Hi

Not sure on this can't find any info, just had a quick look

the only thing I would do is if it in order, would E be No 5, you could pull cylinder 5 coil pack and swap it with the next easiest one

start it and see if the fault shift to that cylinder, thats what I'd try

cheers

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the reply. its a fair assumption that E means #5. However, I'm still none the wiser as to which cylinder #5 is. It could be front of LH or front of RH bank. It could easily be one of the middle ones too. Does anyone know?

Thanks

Chris
