What ever happened to this beauty?

Never existed, photo shop special ?

Looks like they used a Mercedes as the base car rather than the XE.

Photoshopping cars?  I have seen photographs of an S Type convertible and a stretched S  Type which could be doubtful.  There is a club member who has converted an s type into a pick up truck, though.

Hi Ken,

Since April 2022 I am the proud owner of a rare XKR 'Silverstone' Coupe. This car was made in 2001 and shipped out to Japan, where it spent the next 21 years, only covering 57k miles!

I now have her back here in the UK (South Buckinghamshire) and looking to fix a few small issues to get her to factory-fresh condition.  I can supply her VIN and other details if you are indeed still compiling a list?

I'd be very interested to learn how many of the 250 Coupes and 250 Convertibles are still registered and on the roads here, or abroad.

BR,
Martin
