Hi

Thought I'd say hello to fellow X Type owners. I have a 2005 2.0 Diesel Estate SE which I am very pleased with, she has a few problems but I can see there's a wealth of answers on the forums which should see me right. This is my second X Type the first was a 2.5 Saloon, she sadly had a tin worm problem so she was traded for a Rover 75 (please forgive me) but I always missed the Jag so we now have another one. Hopefully if the weather holds she will get a service over the weekend and a change of glow-plugs and then it will be on to some of the common faults, headlight washers, parking sensors and the glass part of the tailgate not working, fortunately I have a large collection of tools and really enjoy working on the car.

Welcome to the club, Rich.

My son has a 2006 model exactly the same as yours - a real workhorse and a pleasure to drive.

There are several other members in Corwall  ---  you could see them around.
