…From her!

After 3 years of owning such a beautiful car, its sadly time to say goodbye to each other. SWMBO has decided she wants a bigger car, so I have bought one, although we are still part of the JLR family it will be sad to say goodbye to her, and all you good folk on the JOC. There has been such fantastic help and guidance given to me personally since I joined, all I can say is thanks to each and Every one who has helped and had the patience to listen to my garbled pleas for help.

I did say in a previous post, the next car will have a growler badge on it somewhere, unfortunately not this time, although in the future I’m sure I’ll be back to annoy you all once again.

For those interested, I now have a Range Rover.

On a final note the Car is still available if anyone is interested, however it will need to go before Wednesday next week, I am of course trying to sell it elsewhere. But here is the important thing to me, I would prefer it to go to someone who will appreciate her, so preference will be given to any member of the JOC, and at a very reasonable price for JOC members. It will be buyer collects, viewings after 18:00 p.m. please Mon – Thurs only (cash of course) I’m in south east London not far from Eltham.

You should be aware the MOT is due next week (hence the need for her to go quickly) I honestly do not foresee any problems in that regard, but of course cannot guarantee it, she now has approx. 95k on the clock which is way below the average expected (circa 10K p/year = 150K) and still runs like a dream. Last MOT no advisories / sailed through, and only added about approx. 3.5k since then. For those that don’t know, she is a certified “Limited Edition” (cert from Jaguar Heritage along with other paperwork will of course be given to the new owner) for JOC members £600 no offers sorry! PM me if interested, she will go on a first come first served basis. It would be an absolute shocking waste to consider the other alternative

Attached some photos I took a couple of years ago, she still looks the same

It was the toss of the coin that cost me 😉

The things we do to please the ladies in our lives, and indeed to keep them in that state.

I do hope your First Lady understands the depth of your sacrifice and appreciates your determination that she comes first and above all.

Sorry to see you go Steve but happy you're staying within the JLR family - heaven forbid a convert to BMW, Mercedes or worse still - Audi.

Here's hoping too that you find a good home for your S Type.

Ho-hum - one less grin in the south.😞

Hi Steve, why not keep the car as a 'spare' ?

Always handy to have an extra one around the place !
