Door sticker options list

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a Jaguar S-Type 2.7 Diesel Sport in Ultraviolet Blue, and as far as I can find out it has an R package or it is an R Diesel.

Badges at the car, black around the windows, boot spoiler, CATS, etc. But I want to know it for sure. And is it a rare combination?

Tried to contact the Jaguar dealer but he can't provide a list. At the inside of the door there is a complete list with numbers. Where can I find a list / page where I can check all these options?

Thx in advance, Rick - Dutchman

hi

They never made a R Diesel

Only R they made was the 4.2 Supercharged,

there just badges that someone has put on

the label in your pic, is a standard on most exported cars, its not options fitted

cheers

Joe.

Hello Joe,

I couldn't find any information about an R Diesel but the R badges seem to be at the car from the start.

The other things are that all the chrome is in the colour of the car and black around the windows. Also the CATS suspension is at the car. Seats are perforated leather.

I tried to put in in the VIN system but it only gives me the standard car not the options, or do you have a betterl link?

Regards,

Rick

Hello Joe,

Did sent you an email !

Greetzzz

Rick

Hi Rick, and welcome to the club.

Joe has already said what I thought.   I do think that a previous owner has been very active with embroidering you car, as certainly the R badge on the side of the car is not a Jaguar  idea.

The vin number should give you more detail.

Regards,

Peter.

Hello Peter,

Seems indeed that they haven't made a R Diesel. But I have seen more R versions with the R badges at the back and at the sides.

Also the 4.0 was as far as I can find out made in a  R version.

Regards,

Rick
