Hi,has anyone had the problem of spongy brakes arfter changong from reverse to drive.arfter putting the car into drive arfter reversing the first time i brake in the forward gear the brake pedal goes nearly to the floor to brake,but after that first initial brake its fine again.it an 2015 xf sportbrake.

No, definitely not, the brake pedal is always firm, I would get that looked at ASAP.

Hi

Sounds like master cylinder starting to fail

if there's no air in the system, nothing else can cause the brake pedal to go lower than normal

would get it checked and get the brakes bled first as air can do this
