Hi Folks, first post on here. I've just bought an XF, 2011 facelift, but I can't get the footlights to work when the door opens. I've tried the reset of holding the overhead light (which works OK), it flashes but no footwell lights come on. I've replaced the bulbs and I've tried to find the fuse location but there doesn't seem to be a direct fuse correlation in the handbook with those lights. Can anyone offer advice please? Thanks!

Hi David, and welcome to the club.

Have you tried replacing the bulbs? I had a similar problem on my s type -- a bulb change cured it.

Regards,

Peter.

Yes, Ian.  But putting them back is the tricky part of the job, and they could not be properly settled.

Thanks, Peter and Ian, I'll try and take the bulbs out and refitting. Do either of you happen to know where the fuse is located for those lights? The handbook makes no mention of it. If they're on the same circuit as the overhead courtesy lights then that's a dead end.
