Greetings

I am replacing my 2013 XF S which met its end when someone decided to drive into it for me so looking for another cat to whisk me to work.

Found an approved 2016 R-sport for sale 17K miles loads of extras (manual seats strangely enough), including HUD, the larger touch screen sunroof 360 cameras, meridian surround system,  full leather and carbon fibre trim.

Does £19K seem high for this?

Test drive of this model seems fine - engine a little noisy as the 20 litre required a bit more throttle than my old V6 but I am thinking to save a little fuel and spare the environment my driving another 6 pot 3.0l.

Of course its all down to my call/my preference in the end, but right now, something just holding me back - I think its the look of the 17 inch wheels on what look like balloon tyres after my low profiles.

What does the forum think - will I hate it or should I !Removed! and buy the thing and move on?

Thanks

JokerZ.

Hi Joker, I got my XF Portfolio in May and couldn’t be happier with it. I paid virtually the same price. MPG isn’t as advertised but still very healthy. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed

good luck

This is my first Jag so my advice extremely limited but if you like it get it. You’re only here once

Hi Trev,

Completely agree about those wheels! I know the 20" ones ride a bit more harshly and the tyres are costly, but I wouldn't swap them!

Sounds like it has lots of interesting toys, but for me, manual seats would be a big turn-off.

All in all tho, if you like it, buy it, you can always swap the wheels!

Good luck!

Good morning.

just wondering if you've had a test drive yet, i bought a XF Portfolio in September it has 18" alloys and i think they're big enough and the car drives very well.

I prefer the Rib pattern of the Seats on the Portfolio and i think they'll keep there shape better.

Regards Tom.
