Shock Absorbers - Sport or Comfort

Featured Replies

Hi all , I have an X Type Estate and it needs new rear shocks - how can I tell if they are Sport or Comfort - to match the front ? Or does it matter ?

Thank you for your attention , much appreciated.

Colin.

XType estate what?  You need to specify the model to be able to spec the shocks.

My one is a 3.0L awd sovereign estate and has the comfort shocks as standard.

Jaguar X Type 2.0D.

Most probably comfort. Sport versions would have the stiffer shocks and springs.

But if you go to the major parts suppliers and put in your reg details, 9 times out of 10 they will come up with the correct parts for you.

Mannie...
