Rear parking sensors

Can anyone help my rear parking sensors alarm continually for about five seconds when I turn my ignition on which wakes up my neighbours children at 4.30 every morning when I leave for work.

What could the fault be and can I temporarily until repaired remove unit that makes noise ?
it does once in a blue moon all start working properly.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi David,

I think one of the sensors is out of action and needs replacing.

I had the same happen to me a few months ago. I think that you could just switch off the rear "parking aids", or find which sensor is faulty.
