have you plugged in a code reader and checked accelerator position sensor alters when you press the pedal

have you tried turning the key to position 2 and pressing the accelerator all the way down, slowly 3 times, before starting it

Good day Joe

Thanks for your very quick response.

Please see below.

strange on, what happens when you press the throttle ( Nothing no acceleration )

have you plugged in a code reader and checked accelerator position sensor alters when you press the pedal ( I have a small unit I purchased from UK but no very good and it is not indicating and fault) A local garage used their instrument which was much more sophisticated than mine but again no fault was seen)

have you tried turning the key to position 2 and pressing the accelerator all the way down, slowly 3 times, before starting it ( I assume that the key in the OFF position i.e. when you have just inserted the key into the lock is position 1 - is this correct) please note presently I am in my office in Vietnam my car is at my main home in Miri Borneo so I will try and get someone to try this method.)

do you have any fault codes (No as explained above Joe)

Many thanks stewart
