My 2005 has been standing for 2 month, when I went to start it the battery was flat after I charged it all I got was numerous clicks from the dash board and buzzing. Now the drivers door will not unlock with the key. Has any one had this and could help me out to get it back on the road please.

Almost certainly your battery is toast and you need a new one.

Hi Phillip, and welcome to the club.

What Steve has said is correct.

It would be useful if you could mention what model your car is and when the battery was last replaced.

My s type [2007 Diesel] is spending a lot of time on the driveway and inspire of the battery being new I find that it still needs charging weekly.
