Hi , Newbie here, I have a problem with my Driver Door lock mechanism and the Driver Window not operating, if there are any Members near me in Ferndown  Dorset  , who can come and help me please I would greatly appreciate it, Not being mechanically minded I havent a clue how to fix this problem.

Hi Barrie

Sounds like it could be the trunking containing the wiring to the drivers door that may contain the problem.
As the door opens and closes the wiring (within the trunking) articulates and can result in the wires breaking.

An easy way to try it is to hold the door open and while pressing the window switch down, try wiggling the wiring to hopefully make the circuit (broken wire) and if the window moves the your problem is within this area.
