The Drivers Door Window is not working on my 2003 V6 X Type Can any Member please help, I can hear the Motor working but the window is not operating. Is this an easy Fix or  does any Member know of someone in the Bournemouth Area that could help or if there is a Member local to me at Ferndown or Bournemouth I would gladly pay them to help fix this problem, its a damn nuisance not having the window working at Drive Throughs or when you want to lower the window at any time.

Quite possibly has come off the runner. Remove the door card and check it out if you feel competent enough. If not, take it to a garage or an auto electrician.

I think it may be the Regulator so have ordered one on sale or return basis and will have a look at this when the Regulator arrives, I will update Members who may a similar problem on my findings, Thanks for your reply.

 

It was the regulator. bought one from a Jaguar Parts Supplier , genuine used part with warranty all fitted and working well, a little tip to others, there are two types of Window Regulators, a Comfort one which lowers the window in steps and an automatic Regulator  which also lowers the window with one press of the button, Always make sure you get the correct one otherwise  the window will stay down and not return to the closed position.
