Hi All

my names Tracey , but also known as Tray,    I am now the proud owner of a 62 plate Jaguar XF Sport , auto 2.0l D.    Having a few teething problems like closing side mirrors, low battery warnings etc but popping by garage this morning to see what they say .
I live in Yorkshire having been a Londoner by birth then spending nearly 30 years in Kent and having moved up this way in 2015

thanjs for accepting me here 👍👍

Welcome to the Club.

Your engine will be a 2:2 litre as the 2:0litre didn't come out till 2015.

About your low battery warning, there are a lot of comments about this and with all off the technology in modern cars we need a battery in good condition.

Some members including myself have bought a Ctek charger/conditioner and fitted permanent cables to the Battery and they have a Plug which you connect the charger too.

Regards Tom.

Hi Tray--You are very welcome to the club and we are always keen to see photo,s of new members  car,s

Like Tom said " modern cars we need a battery in good condition"  and I suppose your garage will check for that

Welcome to the club, Tray.

Tom has mentioned the Ctek charger which I also have.   My s type is not doing much work on the road at the moment  due to the  Coronairus  and goes on to the charger every 6 days or so. I had a electric point fitted just outside my garage which cost about £60.

Regards,

Peter.
