Good Morning. I have Jaguar XF 2015 r sport diesel. I’ve noticed on cold morning the car takes so long to warm up I could be driving for about 15 mins and it still not moved from cold settings on the engine temperature.any ideas many thanks John

I find diesels always take an age to get warm in cold weather, had similar problem in an XE I had before, but heated seats and steering wheel helped a lot 🙂

To be honest that seems an excessive amount of time. I can get comfortably warm after 3-5 minutes max and i live in Ukraine, where we can get to -20's in winter, using the max heat button. My car is also the R Sport and has no heated seats or steering wheel so i fitted heated seat covers. Not the most attractive addition but they do the job on the coldest of mornings.

This seems a bit odd. One thing I noticed when I got my XF-S Portfolio was how quickly it started warming the interior. From a cold start, I have warm air within a mile or so, if it's really cold, heated seats do the job too.

Seriously, after many years of nice cars, the XF trumps them all for getting warm in the morning, so maybe you need to have yours investigated?

Hi I'm looking at buying a jag xf r sport and wondered if anyone can tell me if it's possible to fit a tow bar to them as I've seen on some towbar websites that they exclude the r sport but then others say you can fit and want to be certain before buying
