Hi, I'm a newbie here, if I've put this in the wrong place feel free to remove, land rover man myself, but I was doing a barn clearance and found jaguar engine 2.4 straight 6 cylinder xk, with gearbox attached, been in barn for at least 30yrs  but been covered up look in descent condition, being a land rover enthusiast, I don't want to scrap it if some one has a use for it, can be viewed, but can't have it in yard for to long, dd

That is a good find.  I would guess that there are a few Jaguar owners who would like that engine.

Hi, I have been informed today, the engine has been stored in barn since 1965, it was bought to go into a jaguar shell which was purchased from Mallcum Campbell the father of Donald Campbell, who unfortunately died trying to set the world speed record on water,  but for some reason he never completed the project, thats what I was told this afternoon, and thank you for the nice welcome, dd
