Good evening all I have a 2001 3.0 5 speed manual S type I was wondering if I could upgrade the gearbox to a 6 speed manual from a 2.7 S type is the bell housing bolt pattern the same from a 3.0 V6 Petrol to a 2.7 diesel ..

I’d say this was very unlikely to be possible. Completely different engines plus gearing likely to be very different for the diesel. So even if it could be done, it’s likely to be undesirable 😉
