I note a lot of s types have a jaguar leaping ,I would very much like to fit one to my  07 s type .

My question is where is the best place to get one? Are they a standard size ? Does fixing it require drilling ? Is there a template anywhere for positioning it ?

Hi Donald and welcome to the club.

You could get one from eBay.  There are several.  I have a Leaper that was put one using an adhesive attached to it.

You don't need a template as far as I know but placing it needs to be correct.  Just have a look at my s Type 07 pate.As you can see is positioned  with he head of the leaper on the end of the bonnet.

if you buying the bolt on type, the bonnet needs drilling, there is already a round hole in the bonnet frame at the front, hole has to be in the middle of that hole
