Just bought my first Jaguar XF, any advice would be appreciated

Hi all, very excited that I just bought a 2013 Jaguar XF R sport and i love it but just was wondering if anyone had any pieces of advice or warnings about the car as I am very much a novice. Thanks all.

    That is a great car you have bought, you will enjoy driving it.

    Looking at reviews they seem a pretty reliable car.

    What car gave it 4 out of 5.

    There are quite a few reviews by Motoring magazines on google.

    I did have an XF was a great car, only problem I had was the battery as it was not used all the time.

    The alarm kept going off. 

    You Can get round this using a solar charger for instance.

    Seems to be a common problem on a lot of Jaguars.

    Some people like to use a Ctek to check the battery and make sure it is functioning correctly, see Joe.dot com post on 12th October.

    He explains it well.

    The only other thing I came across from other owners was a few electrical complaints - wiring looms, but on the whole they are great cars.
