Just had it MOT'd and apparently both rear track arm dust covers are severely deteriorated and that the bushing will soon be affected.

I'm told that the whole arm has to be replaced and not just the bushings, now if it's just the covers that may be a lot less.

However is it correct, can the bushings not be replaced?

Thanks.

Here They don't fail you, only if there is play. There Is a company in Bulgaria That sells gaiters/grease covers etc. Pls let me know if you find them.

hi

you can just replace the rubber boots, loads on eBay

but its far easier just to swap both rear tie rods

dont forget to get the rear tracking checked as this will alter the tracking and will need setting up

cheers

Thanks Joe,

I'll have a look on eBay. It was the sizes that got me last time I looked. My budget is very limited so wiping away the grease with dust and recoating has been good for a few years here in E.  No Play is the name of the game!!

Any size recomendations more than welcome?

Mike
