Hi Guys!

Anyone out there had a problem with their 'S' steaming up? Mine gets that bad I actually have to stop and use a cloth before I can see out! Makes no difference if the A/C is on or not and sometimes turning on "demist" function makes it 10 times worse. I've tried everything but to no avail. Any suggestions please??

Cheers

Eee

i would say it sounds like a leaking internal matrix or conrol box, are the carpets damp? one of my previoue jags had this problem and also when i put blower on it was something to do with the ati freeze in it that made windscreen gum up. might not be but worth checkin if nothing else works

Hi

Long shot but can you hear the recycled air flap operate when the button is pressed as I had the acctuator valve fail closed no matter what the light on the dash said.... recycled air flow will cause your windows to mist.

Probably not the same problem, but my S-type was constantly steaming up last year. Turned out that one of my rear door rubbers was split, so any water running down ran straight into the rear of the car! One new rubber later, no more steaming up!
