Age is no barrier to Jaguar drivers.

I just thought I'd post this folks, my wife aged 76 took my Jaguar out for a spin today, the day after our golden wedding anniversary, no problems at all. All the controls are very similar to her little Skoda Fabia and she sailed along with the best of them. I just thought I'd post this as an encouragement to the older potential Jaguar owner

Best,

Alastair :-)

Thankfully my wife has no interest in driving my Jag, she has only ever had small cars (her present one is a Citroen C3), but even if she did I would not let her near it.

I am sure there are many people here with the same thoughts Geoff :)

Alistair, congratulations on your anniversary mate :)

As the wife doesn't drink, when we go out for a meal, I normally drive out and she does the return journey. I suppose I must admit, she is a very good driver :D

Best regards,

Dave

I'm 60 and love driving hubby's jag ..... and I forgive him for buying it instead of the runabout I initially went out to buy :D :D

I have no problems letting my wife drive my S Type. Like me she loves big cars even though her own car is a Toyota Corolla. Her favourite rouse to get to drive the Jag is getting me to go fill her car with fuel as she hasn't time!! She goes to work, I'm retired. Yea yea I know I'm a sucker and have been for 42 years.

Handy when we go out though as I drive to the venue and let her drive home. So what's wrong with that, It's fair isn't it?

Colin
