i have a 05 x type estate that has been stood for a while and the battery has gone flat.i have part charged it,when you turn the ignition the only thing that comes on is the oil light and airbag light.

i am at a loss,has anyone had this problem,

Get the battery drop tested and see if it`s badly deteriorated first, and if it`s the case that it is too weak to start the car then replace it. You can take your battery into Halfords and have it tested for free, if it has bitten the dust they will dispose of the old one for you if you purchase a new one there.
