I was given my 1st jaguar by my father in 1978 to restore at the age of 13 a 1964 Mk 2 2.4 which took me 4 years, 32 years later I've purchased my second one 2001 XK8 convertible.

Hello i would like to introduce myself...

i am a retired hgv driver on the wrong end of 70 and i have just bought aa XJ8  year 2000, i have owned two XJ6's in the past and have always regreted selling them i also own a Rover 75 CDTI club on a 53 plate with approx 40k on it which i intend to now sell after 6 rs of ownership.

I live in a village called Haswell in Co. Durham and do not drive a lot so at my age i thought its now or never and took the plunge as this car is probably the last one i will ever buy.the car is a silver XJ8 3.2 with just 89k+ miles on her...

  Kindest Regards .

Hi Wayne, welcome to the forum and Jag ownership.  What model do you have?

I see you're from Warwickshire, there seems to be a growing number of members seeking a meet in the West Mids area - any thoughts as to a venue?

Best regards,

Dave

Hello Dave

I have a S type 3.0L sport, for meeting some where like Coome Abbey would be a good place just depends where people are coming from but that is in the middle of warwickshire.
