Hello - pleased to be here

Hello to everyone,

I thought my first post on the forum should be an Intro.

Rarely been without a Jaguar over the last forty years. Currently driving a 2007 XK Coupe which replaced my previous 2005 XK8 ln November.

Took the XK8 down to Gibraltar last Summer and have just returned from France with the XK. That probably means my favourite road in the UK is Junction 11a on the M20 leading to Eurotunnel!

Have always done my own maintenance. Originally this was to get me away from working in IT but the way engine management has gone in recent years, the two have almost merged.

Welcome, with your knowledge of maintenance I'm sure you input will be highly valued; if you think we can help in anyway, just ask.

ATB,

Trevor

And a welcome from me, too.

I echo Trevor's comments on maintenance.  Nowadays, us oldies can only maintain the old fashioned kind of car where the adjustable spanner and a lump hammer were the most useful tools.

Regards,

Peter.

Thanks for the welcome.

I hope you and your XJ have stayed out of trouble in the recent storms. The south west looked to be getting a terrible pounding.

Peter,

Thanks for the welcome.

Although I'm happy in the world of DTC's, the adjustable spanner and lump hammer still have their place in my toolbox for the times when technical solutions fail!

Graham

Hi Graham...and welcome to the club !

Its always good to have techie's on here and it always helps to have a lump hammer in the toolbox

Regards    Trevor (another one)
