headlight washer covers

ray and pete xtype. have just purchased xtype 2.5 sport v6 2004 headlight washer covers missing .have purchased new covers can anyone help with info on fitting.

First, welcome to the club.

 

Washer covers?  I had never thought about that, but if they are plastic you will need to warm it up to make it a bit pliable.  I fitted a plastic grommet once and it was only after putting it into very hot water that I was able to squeeze it in.

 

But there will be someone here who has done it before and will pass on the information.

As Peter says...it is probably just a case of fettling in the covers...why were they missing in the first place?
