Good Morning Cat Lovers ,

 

I have recently purchased a 2009 XF 3.0ltr Diesel Premium Luxury which is a ex Jag lease car and when I went to tune in the DAB Radio the icon that is displayed on the audio menu ( touch screen)is not there ,all I have is AM/FM

                              CD

                              Portable device

 

In the Handbook the DAB/TV are a shared icon on the menu also in the centre consul comms connections box I have the 12v supply and the portable ( ipad/phone) socket,the USB section is blanked off.I would like to know if the DAB and USB were optional extras for the Premium lux 2009 model .I have looked on the Jag website and have only confused myself more with conflicting reports that they were optional at £300 a go  yet another states they are standard. Appreciate any help and is it possible to upgrade to DAB and USB.

Not an expert but I have the 2012MY XF 3.0s premium luxury with lots of toys and extras and I don't have a dab radio. So I suspect it's always been an option.

I have a 59 plate portfolio and I have the DAB and USB but mine also has the B&W system to...

according to the brochure the Premium Lux has

 

Upgraded Leather

Heated Seats

Keyless entry

upgraded Stereo

Folding door mirrors

Heated windscreen

Auto dimming rear view mirror

 

These are all standard on the Premium Lux and I would assume costly extras on the Lux

Keep the XK, nothing wrong with the XF they are fine, but keep the XK and I'll let you be one of the Charisma Brothers .

DAB was part of the B&W upgrade on the pre facelift XF. not a standard alone item unfortunately.
