Hi-new member here--just recently treated myself to a (3 months ago)  S Type 2007  2.7 Diesel SE with 53000 miles on clock

Paid £7.5 k from Jag dealership with a 12 month warranty, I think that was an ok price.

Absolutely love it but i1m sure the driver space is slightly tighter than my old 2003 model I had a while back.

Thank god for the warranty as fuel guage packed in and they had to replace the entire dash thingy so now its a zero mileage vehicle Other than this its great with 42 mpg on a run

Welcome to the club, Tom.

That looks a nice car at a very good price.

There was a similar car at a local dealer for £9700 yesterday, with similar mileage on the clock.  I noticed that because mine has got 54k on the clock.

Regards,

Peter.

thanks--prices do seem to vary but it looks like new. Lot of car for less than my neighbour paid for his Focus---just hope the repair bills are controllable :D

It all depends who you get to mend the car, should it go wrong.  The main dealers are somewhat expensive but there are lot of good independent garages who can do the same job for much less.

There is a good topic on the Forum which lists good independent garages across the country.
