  6. I was looking for v6 3.0 (i was not aware of the 2.2d) I saw the one I eventually bought following a test drive and was not aware of the engine size till we got back from the drive. I was more than impressed with the performance and sealed the deal. I have no regrets after over a year.

  11. Welcome to the Cub, Nick. With that mileage/driving profile you should have no trouble with the DPF in a Diesel.

  13. Welcome to the Club, Rob Enjoy your XK.
  14. Welcome to the Club, Rob. I have previously owned two X-Types (both 2.5 v6 AWD) they were two of the most reliable cars I have ever had each of them for 3/4 years and only part ever needed (other than Oil, Filters & Brakes) was one of them required an ABS Sensor replaced. Hope you have many happy miles with yours.
  15. Welcome to the Club, Bern
  16. Ian, as Steve said if your car is fitted with Keyless Entry there will be a small black rubber button on each door handle, (you press these to lock the car once to lock and arm the alarm and twice within 5 secs to arm the deadlocks) To gain entry you just walk up to a door and pull the handle. If these buttons are missing the car is not fitted with Keyless entry
  17. Welcome to the Club, Stephen. I have a MY13 Portfolio and keyless entry works fine on mine. I don't know if it is an option that had to be selected at purchase or not. If you register here you will be able to search using the VIN number and it will list all the options and equipment fitted to your car. https://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/vehicle/lookupForm
  18. Welcome to the Club Peter, hope you manage to get your DPF problem solved.

I am perfectly happy that mine only opens slightly, I cannot think of a scenario where I would wish it to open fully every time.

Welcome to the Club, Rob. I had two x-types previously both 2.5 v6 AWD both very reliable cars. Th only part I had to buy other than oil, Filters, Brakes, Tyres & Wipers was one ABS Sensor for the first one. Had each one for around 4/5 years.
  23. Lovely Car, Jason.
