  1. OK guys this is happening in less than 5 months time... I am currently still working on the additional indoor venue trying to get that onboard, prior to chasing one other big potential automotive sponsor, our contact journalist at the Brighton Argus, and some accomodation discounts for anyone making a weekend of things. I have revised my potential figures as we have gone, and now believe we can get 100 Jaguars together! :-) That will be quite some event for us all! So go on, if you haven't signed up yet for a fantastic Jaguar day out by the seaside please do! If not you will miss out on free welcome packs, samples, discounts, a great convoy, a fixed price breakfast by the sea, a big free prize draw with lots of great must-have prizes, seeing Jaguars that cover a huge number of production years, meeting all those people you know online but seldom get to meet, socialising, and enjoying everything a location such as Brighton has to offer.. there will event be photo shoots, and banner signing for posterity!! So go on.. put you, your Jaguar, and your family forward for a great Jaguar day out!! You can pop a post on here, or tweet us at @JFBrightonMeets #MayJagMeet, or friend our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/JaguarForumsUK - it's free to sign up for, free to attend (apart for parking costs and the fixed price breakfast) and guaranteed to be a great day out!!
  2. This event will be taking place on 29th May 2016 - most likely to be on the Brighton seafront as usual. It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event, and I am working on gaining much more industry support than previously, and ensuring that everyone has a fantastic day to remember. There will be a convoy on the morning from Pease Pottage Services to the seafront, with us all setting up camp in one huge parking block prior to a fantastic breakfast with a sea view, and the main meet with as much going on as I can pull together for us including a free raffle for a number of must-have goodies, industry reps (see Industry Attendees list below to see who will have reps onsite) for you to quiz with problems, discounts etc etc. Plus the usual Welcome Packs on the day with free samples, info etc etc. If you would like to sign up for this event please just pop a post on the thread inc how many will likely be coming, and car details, and I will add you in, noting you can join just the main event, or the event and convoy. If you prefer, you are also very welcome to sign up by dropping a line to JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk :-) Convoy from Pease Pottage Services: SteveSheldon 1998 XJ8 3.2 Sport Andrew Lowe 1998 XJR Ngarara 2010 XKR 75 HarleyJagMan 1994 XJS Convertible Brian R 2011 XFR Ron The Guardian 2009 X-Type Estate Andrew65 2007 2.2 X-Type Estate Clifton94 2007 XJR Portfolio Ian D 2006 XK Coupe NeilJ 2000 S-Type PabloJag1 XKR Phill (Reverend) 2002 S-Type Brent 2003 S-Type David Beasley 2011 XF 3.0 Tonyxtype S-Type 2.7 SED Andy Ross 2004 S-Type 2.7 SE DwainLondon 2011 XJ Portfolio Dre 2000 S-Type MuskieTwo 2004 XKR PaulJag 2001 S-Type 3.0 Sport PaulJag 1996 XJ Executive 3.2 Mybrief 2003 S-Type Jeremy Bird 2001 XKR Haddock 1995 Daimler Six 4.0 Tinker 2005 XJ Sovereign Dave Troughton 2001 XK8 Coupe Wessex 2000 XJ8 3.2 Emerald Roger.Grote 2007 S-Type XS 2.7 Liquid Silver Stanboy 2005 S-Type 2.7 BigTel XFR-100 Judith & Fred Bone 1999 S-Type Alan Dyer 2000 Silver XKR Hugo 1976 XJC Mick Parker 2000 XK8 Adrian Lingard 2015 XE Presige 2.0 H2 JXE Neville Barker 1996 4.0 XJS Celebration Colin Shippey 2006 X-Type 2.2D Mark Stabler 1983 XJS Cabriolet Tim Jones 2000 XJ Sovereign 3.2 LWB Tried77 2015 F-Type with many mods Total 40 cars Main Meet Event on Brighton Seafront: SteveSheldon 1998 XJ8 3.2 +1 (JaguarForums.com) Andrew Lowe 1998 XJR +1 (JaguarForums.com) Ngarara 2010 XKR 75 +1 (JaguarForums.com) HarleyJagMan 1994 XJS convertible +2 (JaguarForums.com) Brian R 2011 XFR + 1 (JaguarForum.com) Ron The Guardian 2009 X-Type Estate + 1 (JaguarOwnersClub.com) Andrew65 2007 2.2 X-Type Estate + 1 (JaguarOwnersClub.com) Clifton94 2007 XJR Portfolio + 1 (JaguarForum.com) Ian D 2006 XK Coupe + 1 (JaguarForum.com) NeilJ 2000 S-Type + 1 (JaguarOwnersClub.com) PabloJag1 2001 XKR + 2 (JaguarOwnersClub.com) Elvis (Smile57) 2007 S-Type + 2 (JaguarOwnersClub.com) Phill (Reverend) 2002 S-Type + 2 (JaguarOwnersClub.com) Brent 2003 S-Type + 2 (JaguarOwnersClub.com) David Beasley 2011 XF 3.0 Premium Luxury + 1 (via email) Tonyxtype S-Type 2.7 SED + 5 (via email) Andy Ross 2004 S-Type 2.7 SE + 2 (JaguarForum.com) DwainLondon 2011 XJ Portfolio + 2 (JaguarForum.com) Dre 2000 S-Type + 1 (JaguarOwnersClub.com) MuskieTwo 2004 XKR + 1 (JaguarForums.com) PaulJag 2001 S-Type 3.0 Sport + 1 (JaguarForums.com) PaulJag 1996 XJ Executive 3.2 + 2 (JaguarForums.com) Mybrief 2003 S-Type +3 (JaguarForums.com) Jeremy Bird 2001 XKR + 1 (Facebook.com) Haddock 1995 Daimler Six 4.0 + 1 (JaguarForums.com) Tinker 2005 XJ Sovereign + 2 (JaguarForums.com) Dave Troughton 2001 XK8 Coupe + 2 (Facebook.com) WiltsXK (Phil) 2010 XK Convertible + 1 (JaguarForum.com) Wessex (Peter & Carole) 2000 XJ8 3.2 Emerald + 2 (JaguarOwnersClub.com) Roger.Grote 2007 S-Type XS 2.7 Liquid Silver + 1 (JaguarForums.com) Stanboy 2005 S-Type 2.7 + 2 (JaguarForum.com) BigTel XFR-100 + 1 (JaguarForum.com) Judith & Fred Bone 1999 S-Type + 2 (JEC & Weald Classic Vehicle Club) Alan Dyer 2000 XKR + 1 (via email) Hugo 1976 XJC + 2 (via email) Mick Parker 2000 XK8 + 2 (via email) Adrian Lingard 2015 XE Prestige 2.0 H2 JXE + 1 (via email) Neville Barker 1996 4.0 XJS Celebration + 1 (JEC) Colin Shippey 2006 X-Type 2.2D + 2 (JEC) Mark Stabler 1983 XJS + 2 (Facebook) Tim Jones 2000 XJ Sovereign 3.2 LWB + 1 (Facebook) Tried77 2015 F-Type - many mods + 1 (JaguarForum.com) Total 42 cars - 64 attendees Official Event Support Vehicle: Rowan Lill Official Event Photographer: Stephen Cox from CarSnapped (@CarSnapped & https://www.facebook.com/CarSnapped) Event Sponsors: Harwoods Jaguar - Harwoods Jaguar Brighton SNG Barratt - SNG Barratt - The Ultimate Jaguar Parts Specialist WaxOnWaxOff - www.wo-wo.co.uk Autoglym - Pas5i0n for Perfection Haynes Manuals - See Haynes, See How Scratch Shield - The bucket filter system Ultimo GT Lubricants - High Performance Engine Oil Furniture Clinic - Specialising in the care, repair, & restoration of leather Professional Detailers & Valeters - The UK's trade association for skilled, proven, and insured car care professionals Automatic Gearbox Centre - Automatic gearbox specialists Prestige Car Care Shop - Your number one car care source for automotive detailing supplies Industry Attendees: Harwoods Jaguar - Harwoods Jaguar Brighton Ultimo GT Lubricants - High Performance Engine Oil Automatic Gearbox Centre - Automatic gearbox specialists Event Advertisers: Carphile.co.uk - Celebrating classic and interesting cars VisitBrighton.com - Our Entry The Brighton Argus - Our Entry DriveAddiction.com - Our Entry note updates will also appear on Twitter - why not follow the meet @JFBrightonMeets #MayJagMeet or like us and follow us at our Facebook events page www.facebook.com/JaguarForumsUK and to see previous events for a taste of things please have a look at: UK South East Meet Spring/Summer 2015 in Brighton UK South East Meet December 2014 in Brighton

  4. According to my pretty flaky maths we have 21 weeks until our event!! I have used the Christmas/New Year period to get as much of the event paperwork sorted as I can, ensuring the Welcome Packs are under control and ready for the day. Next week I need to follow up with our remaining potential sponsors, and start pushing towards our target of 100 Jaguars signed up spanning as many years of production as we can. I will keep you in the loop as I go, and very much look forward to meeting everyone in 21 weeks time!
  5. Just put our event forward at Jag-lovers.org to see if we can gain an entry in their event diary..
  6. Hi CBers - Thankfully it shouldn't impact on things and hopefully as they say the promenade repairs will be completed in March giving us a much better backdrop for photos than we have had for the last couple of years..:-) I will keep an eye on this though as we go.
  7. Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year to everyone connected with our great event! :-)

  22. If you are still undecided about whether to sign up or not for our great FREE Jaguar event.. We have been running this event for just over two years now, and every event is bigger and better than the last.. it is Jaguar exclusive and gives you a great opportunity to socialise with Jaguar owners and representatives from the Jaguar world, to learn about your car, and see what other models of Jaguar you might also like - everything from fuel conscious Diesel models through to V8 and V12 performance models, and cruisers covering as many production years as we can manage. We are working on trying to organise not just one venue but TWO this year, with more discounts, freebies and information for attendees than ever before. It is a fantastic day out with an early morning meet, a convoy, & a main meet. We have an organised fixed price big breakfast for everyone, socialising, photo shoots, banner signing, and the biggest ever FREE prize draw with everything from workshop manuals, through to care kits, cleaning kits, and so so much more.. It is a FREE event, and with it's main venue being the Brighton seafront it makes a fantastic day out for you, your Jaguar AND your family.. So why not make that decision, and sign up for our event? You can check out previous events in the forums, and you will see we have many repeat attendees.. because we offer a great day out - easy to sign up to - easy to pass by the family as it costs nothing - genuine industry people on site to answer all your queries - and a really great social event!!
  23. This event will be taking place on 29th May 2016 - most likely to be on the Brighton seafront as usual. It is a Jaguar only event, and I am working on gaining much more industry support than previously, and ensuring that everyone has a fantastic day to remember.
