Cost me £85 to have the instrument binical paired to the car and millege corrected

You may find it's the guage it's self that's at fault experienced same problem the solution was to replace entire binical with a secondhand unit around £40 from eBay and another 40 to have correct milage reset  a lot heaper fix

Have u attempted setting vents to always open

Don't know which fuse it goes 2 but camera should fully shut down when car is locked and start up on entry just leave car 4 a short time to check. It takes about a minute to fully shut down on mine it confused Halfords fitters who thought it would be live constantly but trust me after locking car and watching through back window it will shut down

If its the same as 2011 xf the live wiring shuts down when you lock the doors it took ages to convince the young lad from Halfords but believe me I'd does switch off

 I have a gamin dash cam fitted and for £16 a year have uploaded speed cameras works really well  and gives really good warnings and is very accurate but you have 2 remember to download new files every couple of months 2 keep it updated with the new cameras but very easy and quick 2 do (it was actually fitted by Halford who did a good job) 

Over a month now and aircon working well after addition of stop leaks, just get halfords or whoever to add can of stopleaks (£19) halfway through recharge. Much cheaper than other options so worth a shot as I said worked well 4 me

A recharge with a can of stopleaks from halfords cured all my aircon problems

Hi yes I have 2 of the clusters from a previouse project, one is from a pre face lift s type and fully working and one from a face lift model with a dodgy fuel guage you are most welcome to one or both, as I said pm me the address and I will forward to you.

Hi had the same problem when I had my s type turned out to be the guage. Best option was to replace the complete binical but will require compleating with sdd software.

Just checked and  camera shuts down when leaving car and  doors

locked, as so do all auxiliary systems such as ipod ect, so thay cam fit to any spare  fuze

Sorry not sure which fuze , but sure he said it was a spare one, and it defenatly switches off after egnition switched off and car locked, ask the fitter to contact the mansfield store im prity sure the fitter was a young man called aden or similar,  will tyr to see which fuze tomorrow

Funny, halfords fitted my dash cam straight to fuse box, however informed me it would be constantly live and I would havevto switch it off after everv trip, untrue after ignition switched off dashcam shuts down. This was on a 2010 xf so should be same on your cat. It would seem thay are not use to fitting on luxury beasts.

             Try publisher you can set your own diameters for paper size and set as a template,  to cut and paste your word and pdf files in to it,

Hi all, a possable solution to the lack of speed camera detection in jaguar navigation, is to fit a garmin 350 dash camera,  yoe are able to download (for a small fee) garmins cyclops speed camera data base. Having just had one fitted I can highly recommend this product,  it gives clear warnings with over speed warning in red, only down side is the size of the 4gb micro sd card supplied upgrading to 64gb is recomended. Hope this is of use.

Very different beasts Steave, but the jaguar experience is still there if that makes sense,  think the s type a little more rrefined,  would liked to have kept her , but after taking early retirement needs must, and with every drive liking the xf better and better
