i have a question also, i am trying to upload a couple of jpeg images from a memory stick (not had a problem before) the file is quite small 260 KBS or near enough, it just tells me upload failed. any ideas anyone? i dont know if the high-faluted route to get them on the stick has anything to do with it
photo taken on phone - sent image to my e-mail - copied to stick!
i will also try tonight from my iPAD to see if that works
cheers

i often tell the annoying beepy thing to shut up! but i am grateful at times, although when it goes into a constant screech, i get out and find i have about 2 foot still to play with... better safe than sorry i suppose

Hi Tim
My wheels are 18" BBS split rims (Indianapolis) I do like them, just need a bit of TLC in certain places, overall not to bad though
Some jobs on the list
I need to change the CD player (not working) i think i have mentioned before, for some reason, the idea of ripping out the console etc i find quite scary, so will wait until i have plucked up the courage or just give in and take her to Halfords!
I have just bought these, sports boxes, hopefully will arrive in the next few days, this will be a job to be done in the next few months when weather improves. i'm going to try and photo / video the before, during and after work, sound would be nice, i cant wait to hear them (hopefully wont be dissapointed!) only problem is my Missus, doesnt know yet ;)
I have started this under the Bonnett, but had to stop, my hands are just to shaky (what you see is just a primer coat, they will eventually be Ferrari red) so i have asked my son in law if would he finish for me.
i was considering doing something slightly different to my chrome trim on the boot just above the reg plate, I am toying with the idea of painting the actual lettering, for me the letters are lost! and dont stand out enough. i was Considering either Ferrari red (as mentioned i'm using this in the engine bay) or Matt black or gloss black
Nothing else springs to mind at the Mo, the piggy bank is totally empty anyway now.

Great Job! Tim
got to say does look good 👍👍 and let me guess a huge grin of satisfaction to boot? I was 'Well pleased' (as they say) when I stood back and admired her. More to the point are you pleased? Did you have any particular probs Along the way ?

David, first of all apologies not meaning to hijack your post
Red against Black definitely works for me. I just can't make my mind up, I'm only going to get one chance at this. Thankfully my son in law has agreed to paint the lettering on the heat shield in the engine bay, he does some work on his own and other cars with wrapping (I believe that's what it's called) he will have steady hands unlike me 😉 So I may sweet talk him to do this job as well, he doesn't know it yet, but I'm going to ask him to change the rear boxes when I get them 👍👍 if I knew how to photoshop the image that would be ideal !!
Paul yours is Silver what would be your choice? Frank don't know yours sorry, although you seem to favour Matt black, strangely enough, my daughter in law's fella, said the same, because it matches the lettering, in the 'SPORT 200' badge just below the S type badge. David your thoughts? I'm leaning towards Red, I just don't know.

Hi Jim
could be battery on its way out, or possibly a slow starter motor, normally a sign with slow cranking over, i would start with getting the battery tested

Thanks Peter
appreciate you're reply. Apologies I'm sure you're getting hundreds of queries about this. It will all get sorted in the end 👍

Hi Peter
Not moaning, but I have noticed there are no viewed counters, no signature statements, and it seems more difficult to zoom in on attached photos.
i mostly use an iPad to access the forum. It maybe I'm not using the iPad correctly?

So wouldn't the same logic apply to having a video forum? Whether you use google / YouTube to search for assistance on a particular topic, is There still not a chance that you will be directed to the JOC? I'm not suggesting members can't still upload to YouTube.
I'm just simply suggesting it is possibly a more convenient method to current and future members to hopefully help in their quest for answers, by going Direct to a Jaguar orientated web site.

Hi Simon
if, and I mean IF! My car was your colour I would be tempted with chrome bumper trims, and white indicators / side markers
-
My thoughts are, eventually there would be a library of clips, available to all members of the forum searchable by topic. Perhaps not everything but you don't get everything on YouTube either.
Sign in, search, view!

I was thinking more direct, instead of using YouTube links
