  2. Hello I have a hardwire kit to install a dash cam on my 2005 S Type. Does anyone know which fuse I could use that has a permanent supply? thanks Julian
  3. Hi Phil Info to help replace the stalk is here: http://www.jagrepair.com/JaguarXFLightStalkReplacement.htm Lots of other useful info on that site. Sounds like it might be a dodgy contact in the stalk or a faulty Central Junction Box which controls current flow to both the indicators and the headlights. Does indicating turn main beams on even when light switch is off, or does it just move from dipped beam to full beam when the headlights are on and you try turning? John
  4. Hi ste-- A big welcome to the club be nice to see a photo of your 1994 XJs all the best --- Frank
  5. As the most untechnical person on this planet, I wouldn't know where to start 😏
  6. 1994 xj40s i have owned the car for 3 years and i have a stalling problem. The car starts first time but soon as it gets to normal temperature it goes into a stalll if i keep the engine going by revving the engine manager light comes on and drives perfect . I have changed the temperature switch and lamba sensor exhaust and egr valve and also get fail 44. i have had the garage look at it but still can not find the fault any help would be very much appreciated Thanks ste
  7. Try exposing the stalk operating elements and clean up the contacts with contact cleaner. N6 JMX
  8. Isn't it slightly illegal to have this type of fault?
  9. Have a look here Andy; https://reluctorrings.com
  10. Hi Phil, I have the same happening on my 2006 XK except for the fact it happens when i turn left!, started soon after I aquired the car 2 1/2 years ago now. My specialist told me it's the stalk that needs replacing however your post just reminded me that i never got around to doing anything about it. So replace it or forget about it and save some dosh and enjoy your car.

  12. Hi, needing to find an O/S/R abs ring for 2007 Xk (reluctor ring) so far struggling to find anything other than a full drive shaft and as I understand it there are two different sizes? Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. thank you andy
  13. hi to every one i own 1994 xj40 3.2 sport and 2009 xf 3.0s
  14. Nearly every time I indicate to go right, my full beem also comes on and is a nightmare to turn off. Any ideas how to resolve this issue?
  15. Hi Frank I suggest you really need to get the fault codes read / read them yourself (OBD scanners are available for around £20). Without that you are simply going to be trying to solve the problem without actually knowing what the problem is. Good luck John
  16. Thank you, great suggestion and I will certainly keep that link for future problems. Unfortunately they currently only have passenger side. I have found Jaguar have a classic parts section and hopefully I have bought the right part from there. I will probably have to paint it but at least it should fit.
