drivers window

Hi all I have a 2.2 diesel 2006. Has been very reliable so far but recently the drivers window will not go all the way up (approx 1cm short) I have tried taking out the fuse and resetting but no joy. Any one else had the same problem? And now does it mean taking the door panel off and checking the alignment of the runners. Many thanks

Squirt a bit of WD40 down there  -- always worth trying and quite cheap.

Silicone spray is better, WD40 will rot the rubber.

Thanks for the welcome Peter, I have already tried WD a few days ago and no joy I am I will also try silicone spray next time instead. I had a x type 2.5 V6 petrol previously which had the same issue that WD did sort out. Thanks
