I have just brought a 2002 S Type 3 ltr ,  but this is confusing me and maybe you can help, I start the car, drive off and after a few seconds the radio will go off and I get a beeb from the dash board then the radio comes back on , other that that everything is fine.

Check the battery, David.

There are so many electronic features on Jaguars that the battery, if failing, will not let the least important work.

Thanks Peter, I should have known that after owning a Range Rover for 8 years, they will do some strange things if the battery is not 100 %, I have only owned it 2 weeks so still finding my way around it.

Just another quick question I am getting a noise like a worn out disc pad coming from the rear, pads are ok and I put new wheel bearings on the back this morning and I still have it, thought I would ask here if anyone has had the same noise, I am not as fit as I used to be so the less time I spend under the vehicle the better.
