    I might consider the 5 litre version in 2017, as I'll be getting a tad too long in the tooth for sports cars by then. But we'll see .

     

    The service on my XKR has been put off until next Tuesday as the garage owner has damaged his back .

     

    Still awaiting builders for my final house repairs , the builders make Lord Lucan seem a pest.

    Sounds interesting. Told the wife, and she said could you ask them to design them like proper Jags please (like yours) ?

    It does sound interesting, Trevor, but I am probably not going to go as the times are not that good --  7.30 pm  --  and it is in a busy part of Birmingham with horrendous road works at the moment.

     

    But you wife is quite right about the S Type  ---  and the S Type 4.2 Litre [supercharged] was the fastest road car that Jaguar had even made when it was introduced.

     

    Even my 2.7 diesel has fantastic acceleration between 30 mph and 70 mph and a tope speed of 143 mph.

    She just likes the look of yours, that's why she hated the XJ Supersport (fantastic car), if it looked like your we would still have it.
