Charlie,

My mate (who owns the garage) is doing up one of these, I am really tempted, might get him to slip a V8 into it , as this one has.

A V8 has been done before in this car Trevor on many occasions. Many moons ago I managed with a little manipulation of the bulkhead to get an A series 1500cc into my old Mini Cooper S, The original Cooper S of course

Charlie,

I am tempted, honestly. He had it parked outside his dad's place last week, where he keeps all his cars he does up .

But on the plus side, loads of music coming up next week; gigs on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday .

Visitors have now gone back to London.  Also the Drawing room [so called because that's where the grandchildren used to so their drawing when they were younger] is under decoration.  Carpet getting removed, etc etc.

Charlie,

Trying to get 'er indoors on a more even keel for our trip to civilisation next Wednesday (to see Joan Armatrading)

Don't do doctors or hospitals, told them to clear off years ago as they haven't got a clue, I look after the other half indoors myself now .

If you do online banking the other half won't see anything . As long as mine can get some cash at her favourite beauty spot (the ATM machine) she is happy .

A friend of mine bought a beautiful MG about 1963.  Gleaming Red with red upholstery. with   It only had one point against it and that was that the engine had been replaced.  The original 2 litre engine was now gone and in its place was a 998cc Morris engine from a scrapped Morris Minor.

It went OK but not very fast!
