Rear offside Door Locking

Hi, I have a 2010 XFR, the door locking Button does not work on the rear off side all other door buttons are OK. Any ideas?

Welcome to the club, John.

 

I don't know the detail of doors on the XF, but usually give a squirt of WD40, which is cheap.

 

It could possibly need the removal of the door card to see if something is not connected properly.

                                 try the wd40 first if not it could be down to the locking module in the door  I have just been reading another post on this matter in a jaguar lounge thread.

Any luck on resolving this ?

My XF rear offside door won't lock. Using the dash mounted button doesn't lock it. Door mounted switch doesnt lock. Standing outside it sounds as if the locking motor is functioning. What to try the WD40, do I just spray it in the lock?
