Please can somebody tell me how to reset the "service due" display in the message centre on an S Type?

Not sure, but suspect it's a garage job. Certainly was on my old Volvo V70.

I was hoping it might be achievable with an OBD reader :(

You can do it manually and there is a post with directions on it.  You need nimble fingers and I did it third go.

 

I have an OBD2 scanner but I have not tried it on that message.

If you go to the S Type forum and scroll back to page 5 you will see a post I put on on the 18th October 2014 which tells you how to do it.
