This is probably a daft question but I've been through the handbook and can't find a solution.

 

How do you cancel route guidance if you are in the process of a route then decide you don't want to continue?

 

So far, all I have been able to do is allow the route guidance to continue until it decides that i have reached my destination.

Hi Paul,

 

Usually Doris calculates three routes, and you select the one which meets your criterion. You do that by pressing "Change Route".

 

But here is the bit that will be useless to you --  the only time I have had to do what you want to do, my son was a passenger and he did a lot of the button pressing and a new route came up!

 

I am certain that there is a way to cancel guidance, and I will try to find it when I am doodling around sometime.

When guidance is on press nav menu on screen then on right side of screen press cancel guidance

Press yes to confirm.

Job done.

Easy.

Cancelling guidance

To cancel guidance during navigation, touch the zoom icon, select Change Route then Cancel Guidance.
