Sure I'm missing somthing simple, but after removing the 2 bolts at the top of the grill I still dont seem able to get it out, I ama bit nervouse of forcing it so any advice ax to what I am missing would be appreciated

If you get a torch and shine it down the inside of the grille along both sides, you will see a screw on both sides. These need unscrewing and it will lift out Thomas.

Beware. They will almost certainly be corroded and extremely difficult to turn. In fact the whole stud might be extracted from the plastic of the grille as you turn it.

Providing you go steady, unscrewing the whole stud is ok and can be reversed to re-fit the grille. You must be careful not to go too fast or overtighten as you will strip the threads in the plastic
