... you don't get.

Would anybody be willing to help me remove my front bumper please?

The bolts securing the underside to the splash shield are just turning and not unscrewing.

Happy to provide bacon sarnies, bikkys, tea and coffee by the gallon  and so on :D

Thank you.

Thanks Peter :)

Have you any ideas regarding how to get the underside screws out without causing damage?

Are they self tapping screws, Paul,  as the only thing I could think of is trying to clamp one end.

How many are there?

Peter.

As far as I can understand Peter, they screw into metal clips which grip the splash shield and they have corroded together and therefore the clip is turning instead of remaining clamped in one position.

I can't see any way of getting to the inside to grip them.

There are nine I think.

Sounds a bit like some WD40, Paul, and some inspiration.

But when I am told something is impossible, I am inclined to think harder.

It might be an idea to consider dropping the complete engine splash guard/undertray with it still attached to the front bumper if this could be done then you could separate the front off the car with plenty of room.

Where are you located?

I am away till January the 25th but available from then on
