Spare wires?

When I had the radio out I came across some spare wires, does anyone know what they are for?

Think their something to do with cdc or the phone system.

Paul will be along with his expert knowledge of the cdc/voice/Bluetooth system soon.

Those look to me, at first glance, like connectors for the switches below the head unit.

 

For example, heated seats etc. What switches do you have in your car David?

I've just been out to have a look and its the switch for the door locks, hazard lights and another with a skidding car symbol and guess what, they don't work now.

Looks like it will all have to come apart again tomorrow, what a fool.

The "skidding car" is DSC - Dynamic Stability Control.
