MOT yesterday failed on very small amount of corrosion 2in plate welded on cured it .--and the handbrake had too much travel

I had another new cable fitted and it was enough to get a pass--but not a complete answer to the problem .???

This is every year all down to the self adjusting lever that adjusts-- but-- as soon as you let it off it needs adjusting again I spoke

to a chap who had fitted a new lever and he said it wasn't a lot better ----Then I was told that someone fitted a adjustable lever

and cable and no more problems---Has anyone done this that belongs to the club and did it work out OK. ???????
