Well, The Princess performed faultlessly 

We chose to use the coast road via Shaldon, Maidencombe, Babbacombe and she made mincemeat of the gradients with such aplomb and panache.

Saw dozens of S-Types over the week as well. Some immaculate, some, unfortunately, not so.

I like the word "panache"  --  sounds like a good name for an S Type.  Pity it is French!
