right, disconnected stereo to replace reconnected same stereo as I didn't have the right connection and my x-type 2.5 auto wouldn't start just clicked when key turned the nothing but the speedo needle judder so I disconnected the battery and charged it for about an hour and the car started this morning wouldn't start so I charged the battery for about 6 hrs but still won't start all lights come on but won't turn over i resynced the key by turn ignition key 4 times but still nothing, is this the battery or have I done or not done something else?

If the battery was really flat 6 hours charge might not be enough

check the battery with a meter needs to be about 12.5 volts engine off

I'd put it on charger overnight and then try it
