Hi all,

57 plate 2.2 Estate. The parking sensors are not working. I get a three second beep followed by the light on the roof flashing. I've checked the reverse lamps, both of which are working. I've listened to the front and rear sensors, and all eight of them click.

Does anyone have any experience of this? What is the fault likely to be? Is there a separate sensor module somewhere, or is it all part of the main ECU?

Could really do with some guidance here.

many thanks in advance.

The rear parking sensor module is, I believe, under the boot floor on the left hand side.

Might be worth checking for water ingress, check the connector is fully home or then try a substitute module.

Great, I'll have a look and see if there's anything obvious.

Is the module the same one as the Ford Mondeo/Focus?

I believe it is but I'm not 100%

The Jag Den, on this forum will know for sure. Perhaps send him a message?

It will be wort checking

Ok, so the rear sensors are working after fitting a different module, although still no front sensors. Is the front speaker the same one which give of the fault warning?
